Casa Mestra is a whole house — a community of people sharing kitchens and social spaces, a winter garden and wild garden, and a workspace to meet local entrepreneurs. But Casa Mestra is also intimacy and reflection, with personal spaces for connection with the sea and nature. All in a large, carefully restored century-old stone house.

Winter Garden Lounge
Glass-roofed lounge next to the kitchen used as a social space — we take care of our plants, play soft music or improvise a creative workshop.
Sunset Terrace
Panoramic terrace on the upper floor of the house facing the Atlantic and Monte Pindo — this is our best spot in the house to watch the sunset over the village of Lira.
Outdoor Areas & Garden
Small corners of outdoor calm where we observe the Atlantic or grow seasonal vegetables for self-consumption.
Sea-View Workspace & Events
A space at the top of the house for small events, activities, workshops or simply shared work.
Gallery Kitchen
Quiet kitchen with morning light for when we need pause and introspection. Coffee, reading, writing or simply cooking in calm. And all with a gallery overlooking Carnota beach.
Winter Garden Kitchen
The social heart of the house. As a Galician tradition, everything revolves around the kitchen. A large common kitchen, with a long table, spaces open to the sea, where we have dinner together or improvise spontaneous workshops.
