An inspiring place that the owners have lovingly breathed new life into. It's hard to put into words. You have to be there to feel it. Movement and change, stillness and calm at the same time. Contradictions seem to dissolve on this unusual piece of land in Galicia; in Carnota, in Lira, in Casa Mestra.
But in the end it is the people who “make” this place. Doro and Jörn, Ludo with Hernan and Diego, the residents of the region, the many helping hands and also the strangers who come, stay, and leave again. They all give the stranger a real roof. Yes, you are hospitable there! Schiller would probably have felt at home and both succumbed to the magic of the region and also been inspired by it. I'll be back...

This coworking villa is the perfect blend of productivity and paradise! The stunning ocean views and peaceful atmosphere made it an ideal place to focus and get work done. The community vibe is fantastic, with like-minded professionals and great networking opportunities. Just a short walk to the beach, it's the perfect spot to balance work and relaxation. Magical place, you feel so safe because of the bay and the mountains and at the same time so free because of the vastness of the sea. The nature is breathtaking and the house is only a 5-minute walk from the beach. A place to recharge your batteries, relax and enjoy.

The Place is absolutely unforgettable! Nestled in breathtaking nature, it’s the perfect spot to unwind and reconnect. We loved taking peaceful walks and soaking up the serene atmosphere. The highlight for us was the stunning view of the sea from the gallery – we spent hours there, simply mesmerized. The locals were incredibly warm and welcoming; we quickly met amazing people and even formed some new friendships that made our stay even more special.

The nearby beaches are absolutely spectacular, offering fantastic opportunities for surfing and other water sports. Even though I’m no expert, it was thrilling to watch the pros in action—it added such a vibrant energy to the experience. The Place is more than just a getaway; it’s a haven where you can create lifelong memories. Highly, highly recommended! I planed already my next stay and I am really looking forward to go back there 🙂

A wonderful place with wonderful people. Sitting directly at the viewpoint of Lira where you can see both the Carnota bay as well as the Atlantic Ocean.
Lots of space for doing whatever you need to do to unwind and relax. Beaches close by (less than 5 min walk), forests and hiking start directly at the house.
After talking to the hosts, I've realised that there are some more parts of the house still being planned (sauna, tree house etc) so it's definitely worth following on Instagram to see what will be new in a couple of months.
Will definitely visit again!
